Notes:
1. The 9 teams have been placed in 2 groups. They will play a round-robin competition within each group. The top 2 teams in each group will advance to the semi-finals. The semi-final winners will play in the final.
2. The home team is responsible for preparing the field and change uniforms in case of a conflict. The referee’s fees will be divided equally between the two teams.
3. With the exception of youth players playing on permit, only players registered with the under 21 teams are allowed to participate in cup play. Youth players, on permit, are allowed to participate in any VMSL Divisional Cup games. They are, however, “cup-tied” to the VMSL team with which they played their first cup game.
4. In case of a tie for first place the following criteria will be used to break the tie:
a) Goal difference in games played between or among the tied teams.
b) Goal average (goals for divided by goals against) in games played between or among the tied teams.
c) Goal difference in all games played in the group.
d) Goal average in all games played in the group.
e) Replay or playoff game.
